MGN Deck Builder is accessible through the web across supported devices. Playtest runs on desktop and on phones and tablets in landscape orientation.
Every other MGN tool works in portrait on phones and tablets. Playtest gameplay runs in landscape on phones and tablets; a desktop or laptop remains the recommended experience.
MGN rewards members for actually using the platform.
- Activity Points — earned through meaningful MGN usage: building decks, playtesting, publishing Public Decks, and more.
- Free members compete on the monthly leaderboard — the #1 eligible Free member each month can win the current physical MTG prize.

Guided Help (Beginner Mode)
When ON, MGN may show subtle contextual hints such as "You may play one land per turn" or "This creature entered this turn and cannot attack yet." Off by default once you know the app. Hints never interrupt with popups.
Current Development Status
v3.6.9MGN Deck Builder 1.0.0 has been released. Core deck, card, collection, discovery, and member tools are live, while Playtest and the underlying Magic rules system remain in active development.
